Day 23: A month/year of your life when you were happiest and why


2012. It is yet the most roller coaster ride of my life. 

In 2012, there were a lot of ups and downs. There were a lot of new people who came in, old people who left, and old people who stayed in my life. There was a new environment I had to get used to and an environment I had to leave. This year was a transition. I had to let go of a lot of things and I had to welcome also a lot of things even if I'm not yet ready. 

I don't know how I know it, but I know that in this year, I am happiest. I learned a lot of lessons in this year mostly in the hard way. I learned how to accept the things that can't be. I learned how to float along with life and actually enjoy it. 

I know I am the happiest, because I found out the people that are worth keeping. I found out who will actually be there when tough times get even tougher. I found out who will be willing to stay despite the distance. I've finally distinguished who the important and the unimportant people in my life are. 

I know I am the happiest because I am actually opening up to life's possibilities. I am the happiest because I know that in this year I actually started to live. I am the happiest in this year because I chose to be. I am the happiest in because I am.
