I am, indeed, better off without you

Day 25: A friend you have lost that you’re better off without/one you wish you had back

 When I was in first year high school, I was friends with this girl whom I would not be naming for the sake of... well... heaven. Whatever. Oh well, anyway. So we were really good friends. She was kind to me and all that. We even promised to each other that we would be best friends forever (forgive us, we were young back then. We didn't know what we were saying) But of course, life is not like that. So yes, something happened. Apparently, there was something I said that she didn't like. We fought because of that. WHAT A SHALLOW REASON. Eventually, we drifted apart and she became friends with a different clique. 

 But then... seeing her now, I thought to myself... No regrets!! Whatever it was that I said that made her get mad at me, I am thanking the heavens that I said it. I don't like the way she turned out to be now and I can't imagine myself being best friends with someone like her. 

 I am, indeed, better off without her.
