Day 38: Thoughts on your generation



I am not going to say this because I belong in this generation, but I am going to say this because I actually believe in it.

I think our generation is the future of this race...

Our generation consist of people who are not afraid to speak their mind. They say our generation is wild and what not; but truth is, our generation is just brave and bold. We are strong, and we fight for what we think is right. We know what we want, and we actually get it. We are aware of what is going on, and we know what we need to do. Growing up, we are already exposed on how cruel this world can get to us, and we do actually want to change it. We have experienced enough judgement to make us feel bad about ourselves, yet we do not stop there. Instead, we turn around, keep a strong face, and prove everyone else wrong. We have the most fucked up emotions, yet we do not give up. At a young age, we had a glimpse of how big and heavy this life can get, and we actually managed to stay alive. Gone our the days when the silent ones are good, it is now time to speak the truth, it is now time for our generation to rise up and fix this mess we are living in. We are the youth, we are the future.
